Jubilee Medal "Twenty Years of Victory in the Great Patriotic War 1941–1945"
The Jubilee Medal "Twenty Years of Victory in the Great Patriotic War 1941–1945" was a Soviet state award established by decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR on 7 May 1965 to mark the twentieth anniversary of Victory. It was awarded to military personnel and civilian staff who had participated in the Great Patriotic War, together with other categories specified by the medal's statute. The award became one of the principal Soviet jubilee medals linking post-war public commemoration with individual wartime service.
