Order of the Badge of Honour
The Order of the Badge of Honour was a Soviet state award established by a resolution of the Central Executive Committee of the USSR on 25 November 1935. It recognized high achievement in production, research, government service, social and cultural work, sport and other socially useful activity, as well as acts of civic valour. In 1988 the Order of the Badge of Honour was renamed the Order of Honour; more than one and a half million awards were made during its existence.
