Islamic calendar (Hijri)
The Islamic (Hijri) calendar is a lunar calendar whose year count begins with the Hijra, the migration of the Prophet Muhammad from Mecca to Medina in 622 CE. It consists of twelve lunar months; because its year is shorter than a solar year, its dates shift in relation to the Gregorian calendar.
