Numismatic Guaranty Company (NGC)

Founded in 1987, NGC (Numismatic Guaranty Company) provides independent authentication and grading of coins, tokens and medals. Its protective holders evolved from the original black core to white cores, new labels and security holograms. In September 2021, NGC changed its full name from Numismatic Guaranty Corporation to Numismatic Guaranty Company. It remained the same organization, and holders from the transition may show either name.
