Stalin Prize, Second Class
The Stalin Prize, Second Class was one of the three classes of the Stalin Prize, which ranked among the highest awards of the Soviet Union. Stalin Prizes were awarded from 1941 to 1955 for outstanding achievements in science and technology, literature and the arts. Awards were formalized by resolutions of the Council of People's Commissars of the USSR and, from 1946, by the Council of Ministers of the USSR.
